The Committee

The management of Woodborough Village PreSchool is overseen by a committee of volunteers, a minimum of 60% of which 

are parents or carers of children attending the setting

Woodborough Village Preschool is a charity, this means all our income can be invested directly back into the setting.  The closest thing we have to 'owners' is the community and the families of the children we serve and its been that way ever since we first opened our doors in 1974

Our committee is made up of volunteers, most of whom are part of a family whose children attend the preschool.  The committee are involved in a wide range of activities and without them it just wouldn't be possible to run the preschool in this way.

Whether its baking a cake, writing a cheque or volunteering their time; the committee helps the preschool make key decisions, buy new equipment, send the children on outings, make friends, build a community and generally ensures that it continues to be an amazing place for the children who attend.
