An 'Outstanding' Pre-School for two, three and four year olds
Woodborough Village Pre-school was established in 1974 - we have supported the development and happiness of generations of children.
Our fantastic Pre-school is a unique setting, we are a community group with charitable status managed by a voluntary Committee, made up mostly of parents/carers of children attending.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework, we believe in learning through exploration, creativity, fun and play.
Each day our lovely open space is filled with lots of exciting activities inside and out!
Encouraged and supported by their key person, the children are free to move between each activity exploring, creating and having lots of fun.
Our pre-school is committed to giving our children the very best opportunities.
Your child’s key person will record your child’s learning on Tapestry, an online learning journal for Early Years settings.
You will receive regular updates from this system showing you what adventures your little one has been up to with an explanation how this links in with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Your child’s key person will also be there to work closely and in partnership with you to support home to pre-school learning and vice versa.

Forest School
Our Pre-School is situated next to the gorgeous Ploughmans Woods, a favourite place for Forest school adventures!
During these sessions, the children get the opportunity to learn more about the great outdoors, whether it is listening to the sound of nature, looking for mini beasts under logs, learning to build a shelter or searching for frogs by the pond.
